A high-performance mountain home brought to completion with resilience and precision
We completed this 5,000-square-foot high-performance mountain home after stepping into a project already under strain. What began as a custom new build required a renewed level of oversight, care, and coordination after unacceptable work from a previous contractor left the project in a distressed state. Our role was to restore momentum, protect the vision, and guide the home through to final completion.
To support long-term comfort and durability in a mountain setting, we built with an ICF foundation and exterior walls, a rain screen cladding system, continuous insulation + air barrier, and passive house certified windows and doors. An Energy Recovery Ventilator that provides filtered fresh air, heat pumps, and radiant heated floors, adding further thermal efficiency, resulting in a home defined by performance, control, and a successful finish under difficult circumstances.
