A mountain home reclaimed through careful problem-solving and high-performance execution
We completed this 4,000-square-foot high-performance mountain home after taking over a project that had been left exposed and unfinished for nearly a year. The home required a clear strategy from the outset, not only to address unacceptable prior work but also to create a path forward within a defined budget. From that point on, the focus was on rebuilding confidence and delivering the project with discipline and care.
The home’s performance features include an ICF foundation and exterior walls, rain screen cladding, continuous insulation, high-performance windows and doors, heat pumps, and an interior fire suppression system. Combined with a WUI-compliant exterior, these systems support comfort, resilience, and long-term durability. The result is a mountain home completed with steadiness, technical control, and a clear sense of resolution.
